Pre-Game and Post-Game Field Prep Duties

It's the responsibility of all managers and coaches of BOTH TEAMS. 

Ciavarella Field:

All Teams will enter through the left field fence and warm up by the batting cage no exceptions!

Pre-Game 
1.   Remove the pitcher's mound cover and home plate cover, fold, and place outside fence. 
2.   Sweep the dirt off the edges of the infield grass into the dirt of the infield, the base 
lines, and the pitcher's mound. 
3.   Water the infield, pitcher's mound and home plate area. 
4.   Rake the pitcher's mound, home plate, 1st base line, 3rd base line, and sliding areas 
around all bases. Then drag the infield with the pull screens. 
5.   Chalk the base line and batter's box.  To make a straight base line, stretch string from 
backside point of home plate past the bases and into the outfield. 
6.   Remove plugs of the base anchors and lay the bases down. 
7.   Turn on the scoreboard if you wish to use it. 
Post Game 
1.     Remove your team's equipment from the field and clean the dugouts ASAP so the next team can play. 
2.     Sweep the dirt off the edges of the infield grass into the dirt of the infield, the base 
lines and the pitcher's mound. 
3.     Water the infield, pitcher's mound and home plate area. 
4.     Rake the pitcher's mound, home plate, 1st base line, 3rd base line, and sliding areas 
around all bases. Then drag the infield with the pull screens.
5.     Turn off the scoreboard if it's on.
6.     Empty the trashcans into the dumpster by the snack shack and reline the trashcans. (Liners are in the snack shack.)

Last Game/Closing The Park 
7.     Put the bases away and place plugs back into the base anchors.
8.     All field equipment is to be placed neatly into the equipment shed. 
9.     Replace the pitcher's mound cover over the mound
10.  Clean the dugout, and scorer's box. Police the grounds. Empty the trash cans into the dumpster by the snack shack and reline the trashcans. (Liners are in the snack shack.) 
11.  Lock up the field, batting cage , outfield gates, bathrooms, equipment shed, large garbage bin behind snack shack, both gates to the field, and scorer's box.

NOTE:  During any weekday game, the coaching staffs will need to complete both the pre-game and the post-game duties.  In between games on the weekends, pre-game items 2, 3, 4 and 5 and post-game items 1,2,3,4,5, and 6 must be completed.

T-Ball Field:

Pre- Game 
1.  Water the field, Rake home plate, 1st base line, 3rd base line, and sliding areas around all bases 
2.   Then drag the infield with the pull screens. 
3.  Chalk the base line and batter's box 
4.   Remove plugs of the base anchors and lay the bases down

Post Game 
1.   Remove your team's equipment from the field and clean the dugouts ASAP. 
2.   Water the infield 
3.   Then drag the infield with the pull screens.
All field equipment is to be placed neatly into the equipment shed by 1st base dugout.

Last Game/Closing The Park
1.   Clean the dugout, the scorer's box, police the grounds, empty the trashcans into the dumpster by the snack shack and reline the trashcans. (Liners are in the snack shack.) 
2.  Lock up the field, batting cage, outfield gates, bathrooms, equipment shed, large 
garbage bin behind snack shack, both gates to the field, and scorer's box.

Caleb Duties 

Before the game both teams set up the pitching machine , put down the bases, and rake the pitcher's mound, home plate , 1st base line, 3rd base line, and sliding areas around all bases. Then both teams drag the dirt portion of the infield with the pull screen and line the base line and batter's box.

After the game, both teams return the pitching machine, bases, power cord and all other equipment to the lock box.
