2019 Regular Season Registration

Updated Monday November 19, 2018 by RPB.

Welcome River Park Baseball Families,

Baseball season is quickly approaching, and the league is now shifting focus to the 2019 regular season.  Priority registration is now open with the final day to register without incurring the additional $25 cost being January 15, 2019.  Below you will find important dates and information pertaining to both the registration process as well as changes to the league.

River Park Baseball will be conducting an Information Night on November 30, 2018, at Sactown Union Brewery from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.  This will be an opportunity for parents to ask questions regarding sign-ups, tryouts, divisions, the organization, or anything else you might think up!  There will also be computers available for those who wish to register in person.

Sactown has generously offered to donate $1 from every pint sold to River Park Baseball, so even if you've already registered, come have a night out and support the league - tell your friends!

Registration Requirements

  • Medical information must be provided.  If a player has no medical insurance, please mark NONE to confirm this part of the online application has not been overlooked.
  • Utility Bill (PG&E, SMUD or City/County utilities ONLY) reflecting the player's physical address is required for all divisions.  The bill must reflect at least a portion of the month in which the player is being registered.
  • Birth Certificate is required for all players who are NEW to the league.
  • Volunteer Fee Acknowledgment is required for each family.  At the time of registration, there will be a $250 volunteer fee deferred until June 2019.  If your volunteer credits and Snack Shack shifts are not fulfilled by the deadline in June, the fee will be charged to the credit card used at registration.  Credits and/or team positions will be tracked during the season and volunteer payment commitments will be released once credits have been fulfilled.  Information regarding our new Volunteer Program and how you can help out your league is available on our Volunteer Program page.

Registration Resources

  • Player League Boundaries - A child may play for us if they either live within our boundaries or attend a school that is located within our boundaries.
  • Player Age Matrix - Check the player age matrix to see what division your child can play in.

Priority Registration for Returning Players

Our goal is to make accomodations for all players who want to participate in our league, so we make every effort not to turn anyone away.  However, priority is given to returning players, but it's important that you ensure you sign up early in order to avoid any registration issues as we get closer to tryouts and the start of the season.

The registration fees for this year are as follows:

On or before January 15, 2019                     Received after January 15, 2019
